A chicken Nanban recipe for easy bite-size eating. The chicken takes on a robust taste with a touch of sourness, which makes for a perfect match with steamed rice. Originally a local dish from Miyazaki prefecture (Kyushu region), chicken nanban is now popular all over Japan and has become a go-to dish for family meals. The tartar sauce, with a hint of crunchy pickle, adds to the satisfaction of the meal. Both chicken breast or thigh can be used.
