A dish perfect for potato season, the steamy potatoes are so delicious you won't be able to stop. The garlic and ginger add depth to the flavor with added richness from the miso!
- 14.11 oz Potatoes (small)
- 0.22 lb Minced pork
- 1 Scallions
- 0.5 tbsp Sesame oil
- 0.5 tsp Garlic (grated)
- 0.5 tsp Ginger (grated)
- 1 tbsp Miso
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 0.5 tbsp Sugar
- a little Salt
Remove the sprouts from the small potatoes and wash the skin well.
Put them in a small pot over medium heat and boil for 8-10 minutes.
*If using a microwave, heat at 600w for 5 minutes.
Put ingredients (A) in a frying pan over medium heat and add minced pork and cook.
Once pork is cooked, add strained potatoes and season with ingredients (B). Serve in a bowl and garnish with sliced scallions.
- If you don't have small potatoes, you can use regular potatoes cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Boiling potatoes slowly will make them sweeter and more delicious.
