Takikomi Gohan with Chicken and Burdock

Wash the rice. Place in the rice cooker and add the dashi soup stock Let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
Cut the chicken thigh into small pieces. Julienne the burdock and the carrots.
Heat sesame oil in a frying pan. Saute the chicken. Once it has browned, add the burdock and carrot slices along with ingredients A. Keep cooking until the liquid reduces to about half the original amount.
Add the ingredients from step 3 to the rice cooker. Cook the rice as usual.
Once the rice cooker indicates that the rice is done, let it sit and steam for about 10 minutes before mixing well. Serve.
