We introduce popular miso soup with daikon radish and aburaage among miso soup with various ingredients. This is a dish with the rich flavor of aburaage added to the voluminous daikon radish soaked in the taste of miso soup.

STEP 1
Peel the daikon radish and cut into sticks. Pour boiling water over the aburaage to remove excess oil, and cut into 7 mm pieces.
STEP 2
Add dashi stock and the daikon radish from step 1 to a pot and bring to a boil over high heat, then add the aburaage. When the radish becomes soft, reduce the heat, and dissolve in the A ingredients using a ladle.
STEP 3
Turn the heat off. Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with the diagonally sliced green onions.
- This recipe used 2 kinds of miso which are white and regular one, but please use your favorite miso. Adding white miso makes the soup sweet and mild.
